If you've spent most of your life feeling like you're almost keeping it together, almost on top of things, almost living up to your potential, and you recently found out you have ADHD, that almost makes a lot more sense now.
Late diagnosis brings relief and grief at the same time. Relief because finally, there's an explanation. Grief because of everything that came before it. Therapy is a place to work through both.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Clinical Services Provider specializing in ADHD (ADHD-CCSP), and I work with adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and the specific exhaustion that comes with an ADHD brain in a world not built for it. I was a Special Education teacher before becoming a therapist, which means I think in terms of skill-building and practical strategy alongside the deeper clinical work.
I also have ADHD myself. That's not a footnote , it's part of why I do this work and why I approach it the way I do.
My approach is neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based methods, including DBT, CBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Every session is tailored to you, your brain, your life, your goals. Not a generic plan, not a checklist. Something that actually fits.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Reach out and let's find out if we're a good fit.
*Therapy services are available to Washington State residents only, in person in Poulsbo or via telehealth.
